Intelligent networking

Research results need to be discussed continually. A constructive exchange between science, economy and political decision-makers is indispensable for this.

The support team of the funding programme aims to interconnect the projects and cooperations within the programme and also to involve the expert public for an interdisciplinary evaluation of the research landscape in the field of bioenergy use. Furthermore, it is supposed to classify new suggestions for projects and to point out possible weak points in the funding.

However, the networking focuses on bundling the projects and cooperations of the programme.

Besides the bilateral exchange, events on selected topics ensure an efficient and sufficiently detailed exchange of experience and take the transfer of knowledge to a larger expert circle.

Moreover, it is intended to develop sustainable guiding principles and visions for the future bioenergy use. Discussion forums and methods of future research are supposed to support this process. The programme’s own website, press releases and a final conference help to bring the support team’s work into the attention of the public.

The BMU has assigned the Project Management Jülich with the scientific and administrative coordination of the programme.
