Subject area 3 – Biomass gasification
Aim:
- Expansion of decentral gasification facilities for the combined generation of heat and power (Combined Heat and Power – CHP)
Measures:
- Demonstration und optimisation of climate- and energy efficient gasification technologies
Phase I:
- Funding of measure programmes to analyse problems and to point out optimisation potentials for existing facilities
- Drawing up concepts and feasibility studies to develop gasification technologies
Phase II:
- Building up on phase I, support of new pilot and demonstration projects regarding biomass gasification which are proved to be able to cope with analysed problem fields.
