Fewer Pollutants in the Boiler

Smart combustion concept reduces pollutant emissions in carburetor boilers.

Stuttgart, June 27, 2017 - Scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP and HDG Bavaria GmbH have developed a new combustion concept for gasification boilers. As part of the Low Emission Combustion System (LEVS) project, researchers led by Dr.-Ing. Mohammad Aleysa successfully tested a gasification boiler that not only reduces dust and gaseous emissions in residential areas, but also increases combustion efficiency.
