Allendorf (Eder), February 29, 2016 - A power-to-gas plant on an industrial scale was officially inaugurated on the premises of the Viessmann plants in Allendorf (Eder) in Hesse with guests from politics, science and business. Built and successfully tested as part of the BMWi's "BioPower2Gas" project, the plant can absorb flexibly fluctuating energy and feed high-quality biomethane into the natural gas grid.
