Topic

Concerning large quantities of agricultural residue materials such as fermentation residues or rice husk, the entire recycling chain with regard to energetic and material utilization has not been conclusively resolved yet. Due to their elemental composition, additional demands arise in the thermal conversion of such biomass: E.g. high ash levels, ash crystallization, slagging and increased emissions. For wood chips, LiPRO Energy GmbH has launched an efficient wood gasification CHP plant on the market. Many of the thermal transformation challenges mentioned above are heavily dependent on the conversion temperatures. For this reason, the aim of this project is to develop a temperature-adjustable operation of the gasification CHP plant, so that ash-rich residues can be used. The aim is to optimize the overall process consisting of the gasification and CHP in terms of product gas quality and CHP emissions, as well as to investigate the possibilities of utilizing the resulting ashes.

Aim

LiPRO Energy GmbH has launched an efficient wood gasification CHP plant for wood chips. The aim of the project is the development of a gasifier CHP plant for ash-rich residues.
