Topic

In view of the future energy supply from biomass, milestones and fields of action are developed in projects that prepare a coordinated, sustainable bioenergy strategy. The strategy contributes to a possibly sustainable use of the limited resources that support the entry of new, environmentally friendly and cost-effective technologies. Its aim is to establish frameworks on the developing markets for the sustainable provision and use of bioenergy.

Aims

The objective is the analysis and evaluation of possible paths for bioenergy supply within the direction of national development objectives, i. e. the reduction of the expected energy contribution with material flows and technologies, and the derivation of related ecological-economic and regional interactions.

Measures

The project is built on the basis of scenarios taking into account the land use, the availability of raw materials, the development of the bioenergy system, various frameworks, regional aspects and climate and environmental issues, as well as appropriate sensitivity analysis. The technical and organizational milestones that will be created by 2030 need to successfully prepare a long-term strategy until 2050. The strategy is completed with a side project in the market incentive program (03MAP230), which completes the overall project "Milestones 2030".
