Topic

The main work packages include process engineering adaptation of the gasifier to the changed requirements of residual wood pellets as well as the assembly of biogenic residues in accordance with the specification of conversion procedures.

Aims

The project aims at transferring a prototype of decentral gasification of residual wood pellets from small-scale to series production – for a combined supply of power and heat with a capacity of 30kWth and 30kWel.

The applicant’s operational experience with wood chips is applied to the gasification of residual wood pellets.

Spanner Re2 will adapt and optimise the processes of the prototype with regard to the changed requirements of the new energy source.
