With NextBike
There is a nextbike station directly in front of the Leipzig Cube connected to the Leipzig station network of nextbike. The nextbike rental system enables visitors to get to the KUBUS and back to the city by bicycle in an environmentally friendly way. The use of nextbike is very simple and flexible: The bicycle can be parked at any one of the more than 70 Leipzig nextbike stations.

In order to use nextbike, a one-time registration is required. With the registration, all bike rental systems operated by nextbike can be used in Germany as well as in other countries. Registration is possible via the nextbike app, by telephone via a hotline or via WEBSITE.
Guided City Walk "Peaceful Revolution", March 26
The guided city walk will take you at March 26, 2019 (7–8 pm) to the hot spots of the events of the world-historically significant autumn of 1989. From the Nikolaikirche, the place of peace prayers, where already in spring 1989 the call for freedom became loud, the tour leads us along the Augustusplatz and the Ring. Thus we follow the chronicle of those months and experience how Leipzig has developed since then.

And how to get there?
Leave KUBUS Leipzig and go back to the tram stop "Torgauer/ Permoserstraße", take tram No. 3 heading to "Sommerfeld". Get off at tram stop "Hauptbahnhof" and take the big pedestrian passage "Nikolaistraße" southwards. After 500 metres you will see Nikolaikirche and the column.
The number of participants is limited. You may register for the tour via the registration tool or by contacting bianca.stur@dbfz.de.
