Bad Hersfeld, November 8, 2016 - Collecting food and kitchen waste from private households via the organic waste bin is technically feasible and economically sensible. Their recently completed research project "Bio-OPTI" (FKZ: 03KB105), funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, analyses the recycling of organic waste in the federal states as the scientists at the Witzenhausen Institute show what significant potential is hidden in the bin.
